Spatial mechanics, also known as kinematic analysis of 3D mechanisms or 3D kinematics of rigid bodies, is a branch of engineering that deals with the motion of mechanical systems in three dimensions, without considering the forces that cause the motion. In this course, we will focus on the geometry of motion and the relationships between the parts of a mechanical system.
