This series takes one connected installation at a time and reads it properly: what the equipment is for, which measurements matter, what the charts are actually showing, and what it is worth to know a week earlier. Every post links to a device you can open and inspect yourself.
Each post is built on a SiliconWit reference device: a continuously running installation, one per industry, kept online so anyone can open a populated dashboard for their own sector before connecting equipment of their own. Its readings come from a physics model driven by real weather data, so the daily rhythms, the seasonal drift and the failure behaviour are the ones the equipment would actually produce.
They sit on the public device gallery alongside devices that people have chosen to share. Sharing is never automatic. Every device on SiliconWit.io is private by default, and it becomes visible only when its owner decides to publish it and picks which fields to show.
